Brief Overview

The Telecommunication Systems Institute (TSI) is a Research Institute founded by the Greek Ministry of Education in 1995 as a non profit legal entity. TSI operates within the framework of the Technical University of Crete as an administratively independent and financially self-sustained entity.

Institute’s Objective

The main objectives of the Institute are to conduct basic and applied research and development in the broad areas of Telecommunications, Telecommunications Systems, and related fields, to promote graduate education at the Technical University of Crete by contributing to the effective interaction between graduate studies and research, the preparation of advanced technical studies, the provision of services and the development of products in the areas of its activities.
